In the course of a robbery, the defendant dabbed two victims to death; he was convicted of murder and sentenced to death. On automatic appeal, the defendant argued many issues, including that the victim impact testimony was inappropriate. The court of appeal held that the trial court committed no error in allowing the testimony. The convictions and sentences were affirmed.
