Violation of the order of protection may result in civil penalties, arrest, or both.  Violators may be required to appear and show cause why he or she should not be held in contempt of Court.  If the Court finds contempt of Court, the person shall be subject to a civil penalty of up to $5000.  Violators may also be subject to arrest by Tribal, Federal, or state police.
