3.08. "Mandatory Arrest"

"Mandatory Arrest" means a Public Safety officer shall arrest, with or without a warrant if there is probable cause to believe the person to be arrested has committed an offense of domestic violence as defined by this Ordinance. The victim need not sign a complaint for an arrest to occur. An arrest must be made even if such arrest may be against the expressed wishes of the victim.
