Statutes | Coquille Juveile Code Chapter 640 Part 6 ยง 640.300 | 2019
A child is conclusively presumed to be a resident or domicile of the country, state and/or tribe of the custodial parent and if there is no custodial parent, then of the mother. A childs domicile or residence shall not be changed for the purpose of divesting the Coquille Indian Tribal Court of its jurisdiction over a child. The court may restrain such a removal, as it deems necessary to protect the best interests of the child.
