(1) If no shelter hearing is held, the court shall set a time for a preliminary inquiry not less than 5 days after a petition is filed or a child is returned to the parent or custodian after being taken into protective custody.
(2) At such hearing, the court shall inquire into the conditions and circumstances of the child to ensure that the child&rsquos best interests are being looked after and shall enter an order consistent with CITC 641.200.
