The Court, at any stage of a proceeding, shall appoint a guardian ad litem for a minor who is a party, if the minor has no parent, guardian or custodian appearing on behalf of the minor or if the interest of the minor conflicts with the interest of parents, guardians or custodians or when it appears to the Court that the childs best interests warrant.
