This Ordinance supplements the protections afforded to all Tribal members in the Tribes Domestic Violence Protection Code. The provisions of the Ordinance shall control in event of conflicting procedures in the Tribes Domestic Violence Protection Code and shall be liberally construed to affect the purpose stated above. This Ordinance shall be interpreted to comport with the customs and traditions of the Kickapoo Tribe of Oklahoma.
