A.
The following violations are deemed a delinquent act:
(1)
Driving while under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs
(2)
Failure to stop or leaving the scene of an accident causing death or personal injuries
(3)
Fleeing an officer through use of a motor vehicle
(4)
Operating a vehicle without the consent of the owner
(5)
Reckless driving
(6)
Homicide by vehicle.
B.
All traffic violations including civil infractions, involving children, other than those listed in this section shall be heard under this chapter pursuant to Article II, Child in Need of Protection and Services Proceedings.
C.
Any motor vehicle violation by a child, including those specified in this section shall be subject to applicable suspension and revocation provisions.
