Any person who shall by willful misrepresentation or deceit, or by false interpretation, or by use of false weights or measures, or other artifice, obtain any money or other property, shall be deemed guilty of an offense and upon conviction thereof, shall be sentenced to labor or imprisonment for a period not to exceed one hundred eighty (180) days or a fine not to exceed Three Hundred Sixty Dollars ($360.00), or both.
