Any Person who shall kidnap another individual shall be deemed guilty of an offense and upon conviction thereof, may be sentenced to labor or imprisonment for a period not to exceed three hundred sixty-five (365) days or and a fine of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) plus Court costs.
