In performing the duties set forth in this ordinance, the Department of Health and Human Services may request the assistance of staff and resources of all appropriate tribal departments and may utilize any other public or private agencies, groups or individuals who are appropriate and may be available. The tribe will be considered payor of last resort. If the elderly or disabled individual is eligible for financial assistance for the provision of services, the department may assist in making those arrangements and/or contracting for such services.
